Hi everyone,
I would love to introduce You my second pattern – Babushka Shawl.
Behind every granddaughter who believes in herself
is a grandma who believe first.
proud happy mama
Simplicity and two – sidedness … I have always dreamed about the scarf that I can just take and put on without worrying about whether it will be on the right side or not … I hope you will like it …
Why Babushka? What does it mean?
– an elderly Russian woman, especially an elderly grandmother.
A woman’s scarf, often triangular, used as a hood with two of the ends tied under the chin. Very popular in Russia And in my country (Poland). When I was a little girl it was very popular head cover especially in little villages. I don’t know why but this name just match in 100% to this pattern for me.
It is also very easy and nice pattern. With this one you can practice your front and back post double crochet stitches.
