When and how did you start your crocheting adventure?

My adventure with crochet and knitting started when I was a child π
my aunt made us sweaters, hats, headbands etc and she infected me with it.
She taught me the basics but then somehow I stopped π€· I went back to knitting when I gave birth to my son in 2020. I wanted to reconcile motherhood with work, do something original for my son and at the same time relax and rest.π
Do you knit/crochet for fun or do you also do commissioned work?

I knit/crochet because it relaxes me, relaxes me and makes me happy when something cool is created. I also carry out orders as far as possible, because it is currently my job, which I love, it allows me to develop, pursue my personal development and at the same time I can reconcile it with motherhood.

In addition to crocheting, you also run a group on Facebook - Moje Pasje w UK-SzydeΕko i druty. Can you tell us about it?

The group was created because I was fed up with these scuffles, competition and such unpleasant things on other groups.
I wanted Polish women to unite in their passion outside Poland, in a good atmosphere, support each other, inspire each other, share experience, help find good quality materials, but also that our small Polish businesses could offer their services (skeins, patterns, etc.)
In fact, it's hard to find good quality products, sometimes language is a barrier, sometimes suppliers are unreliable and cheat, and most often we don't know where to look because we don't know the correct nomenclature.
On the group, we recommend sellers, but we also warn you. You can find links to the authors' designs, sometimes we will organize a contest or lotteries.
We also have a themed week

The beautiful sweater you present in the pictures was your first. Will there be more or will you stay with crochet?

This sweater drew me into the world of knitting. It was my first knitted sweater and the first thing I finally made for myself π
there will be more for sure but I will continue to crochet too π

Beginnings are not always easy, let them be persistent and they will surely manage, they just need time to master the basics and then it will go downhill π
